I always love photographing a wedding at Castle Durrow as it’s the very place my wife and I chose for our own wedding, so it’s always special to return. Emily and her bridesmaids got ready in the stunning bridal suite on the morning of the wedding, just a short walk from the beautifully decorated ceremony room styled by Jill Wild. Emily and Johnny brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the day, and I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent capturing their celebration.

The Castle is fully licensed and approved to host civil ceremonies and civil partnership weddings. You have the choice of getting married outside in the spectacular castle gardens during the spring and summer months. For an indoor ceremony the ballroom is the perfect setting to say “I do”.

My favourite part of any wedding is the drinks reception. After the ceremony, you and your guests enjoy Prosecco, craft beers, and delicious food in the elegant south-facing drawing rooms at Castle Durrow, which open onto a beautiful terrace and formal gardens. On sunny days, guests relax outside with drinks and food on the terrace, soaking up the atmosphere. The energy feels incredible and sets the perfect tone for the celebrations ahead.
