Who are we and what do we do?

We are a wedding floral studio located in the heart of the country in Co Meath. Our signature style is inspired by garden-gathered flowers, abundant and romantic and full of movement and life. We work mainly in the Northeast of the country but we do cover the whole island of Ireland if the fit is right.

Top tips and what’s on trend for 2025?

Just like you are looking for a specific style of wedding dress, florists all have their own unique style too so take some time to research different florist’s styles.

Be realistic about your budget. Very few couples have the budget for the Pinterest inspired designs they are dreaming of. Let’s face it, most of us have champagne taste on a wine budget! I always advise focusing your flower budget into your bridal party flowers  and then one or two large pieces, which is always far more impactful than breaking your budget up into lots of little arrangements.

What’s on trend for 2025?

We’re seeing lots of colour! From pastels through to more punchy palettes, you all want colour this year. Also, monotone and mono type bouquets where the bridesmaids all carry either a single colour bouquet or all one flower type in each bouquet . It’s a lovely modern take and not so matchy-matchy.

Wicklow Wedding Florist, Austen Flowers :

Who are we and what do we do?

Austen Flowers is all about creating wedding flowers that feel natural, wild, and totally you. We work with the seasons, using locally grown flowers and foliage whenever we can—because beautiful blooms shouldn’t cost the Earth. You bring the vision, we add a bit of creative magic, and together we make something truly memorable for your wedding day.

What are some creative ideas for where I can use flowers in my ceremony and reception?

Here are some clever  (and sustainable!) ways to make the most of your flowers by reusing them from ceremony to reception:

Aisle Flowers → Table Decor : Use floral arrangements along the aisle, then move them to reception tables as centrepieces. As an added bonus, your centrepieces make beautiful gifts for guests at the end of the night!

Ceremony Arch → Top Table Backdrop : Your gorgeous floral arch doesn’t have to stay behind—move it behind your top table, cake table, or as a fun photo backdrop!

Pew Ends/Chair Posies → Bar or Gift Table Decor : Small bunches tied to ceremony chairs can be popped into jars or bud vases for styling bars, cake tables, or guest book areas.

Bridesmaid Bouquets → Table Styling : When the wedding party no longer needs their bouquets, place them in vases on tables or around the cake display for an effortless floral boost.

Welcome Sign Flowers → Guestbook Table : If you’re decorating a welcome sign with flowers, move them to style the seating plan later.

Floor Arrangements → Lounge Areas : If you have ground-level arrangements for the ceremony (like urns or meadow-style flowers), repurpose them to entranceways, lounges, or dance floor.

Irish Wedding Florist, The Tangled Bramble :

Who are we and what do we do?

“Hi my name is Ali and I am the owner and lead floral designer at The Tangled Bramble. We specialise in Weddings and Events and I am so passionate about what we do.
Because I love to chat to my couples and get a feel for their style and the theme of their wedding day. I then create the perfect designs from there. I create all the florals myself from the bridal bouquet right through to dressing the reception room. It will be just the way you imagined to make sure the same theme runs throughout the whole day!”

Where do I start when choosing a colour pallet for my wedding flowers?

“When I meet with my couples to discuss their wedding flowers I always ask what colour they have picked for their bridesmaid. This is generally one of their favourite colours and the reason they have already picked it. So from there we want to pick flowers that will compliment the style and colour of their dresses.. Similar with the Brides dress you always want the bouquet to tie in and compliment the style of dress eg. A Boho/lace rustic style will work perfect with a loose, full foliage soft bouquet..
I would also encourage couples to work with the seasons colours there for the seasonal flowers will just work together perfectly.. Pastels and softer colours for spring/summer then late summer, autumn the colours start to darken, then heading towards dark forest greens, navy’s, burgundy for late autumn winter.
I also always say the bouquet is just an accessory so whatever you do go for make sure it complements your dress and style and doesn’t take from them..”
