The wedding of Mark & Eoin at The Lodge At Ashford Castle was one to remember. Breathtaking ceremony exit, a fabulous champagne tower, a party-starting first dance, and weather that would make you feel like you where the south of France. Mark is from Cork and Eoin is from Clare. They met through friends at Electric Picnic and haven’t looked back since.
Irish Wedding Venues
Weddings at The Lodge at Ashford Castle offer a blend of relaxed elegance and timeless Irish charm, set against the breathtaking backdrop of County Mayo’s countryside. Located on the expansive Ashford Estate, the lodge provides an intimate setting. Overlooking Lough Corrib, it creates a naturally romantic atmosphere that requires little embellishment.

You can hold your ceremony in one of the beautiful suites, in a local church, or weather permitting outside in the gardens. Eoin and Mark where blessed with sunshine so they chose to have their wedding ceremony outside overlooking the stunning Lough Corrib.
You also have the option of the Junior Harbour Room which perfect for more intimate celebrations with up to 30 guests. For larger weddings, the opulent Harbour Ballroom can host 200 guests, or up to 260 guests when extended with a marquee. If you would prefer a church wedding, a choice of churches are located in and around the grounds, with Saint Mary’s Church Cong just a three-minute drive from the Ashford Estate.
Party the night away
After a fun champagne tower with the bridal party, Mark and Eoin made their entrance to the Harbour Ballroom to a standing ovation from their guests. Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan was their first dance song and the always amazing wedding band Spring Break kept the party going long into the night.
