Alison & Phil’s Brooklodge & Macreddin Village Wedding
A Brooklodge Macreddin Village wedding is one wedding venue I always look forward to going back to. Alison and Phil had an amazing day in the glorious sunshine surrounded by family and friends.
Macreddin Chapel
If you do decide to have a Brooklodge & Macreddin Village wedding I would highly recommend having your ceremony on site in the beautiful Macreddin Chapel. This little chapel is amazing. After having your bride prep in the hotel the chapel is just a short walk across the garden. You also have the option of an outdoor ceremony beside the chapel if the weather is really nice.
Wedding Photos at Brooklodge
When their wedding ceremony had ended, everyone gathered outside the chapel to enjoy some champagne and ice cream in the sun. What I love most about this wedding venue is that everything you need is in touching distance. Brooklodge & Macreddin Village has beautiful surrounding for wedding photos.
What The Bride & Groom Said
We chose our venue because… We loved it from our very first visit. Both of us came away from that visit so happy. As we were having a Humanist ceremony. We were looking for somewhere which had a nice place to hold this and the chapel at Brook Lodge was perfect. You walk over a bridge across a brook to get to it and it’s really beautiful. We got really lucky with the weather on the day of the wedding. After our ceremony we had ice cream and prosecco by the brook which was a really nice thing to be able to do. The grounds are beautiful so there are loads of places to take photographs meaning that we didn’t need to travel anywhere. For the reception, they have a separate building to the main hotel so it’s your own area for the day. We were also looking for somewhere which had plenty of onsite accommodation for our guests and Brook Lodge ticked this box also.
